Even after filming ended, Pitt and Cruise never patched up their differences. In 2009, they competed for top box office success with their respective World War II films.
In the end, it was Tarantino’s film that won. Pitt starred in Inglourious Basterds, while Cruise appeared in Valkyrie. However, Pitt was not gracious in his victory, calling Cruise’s film a “ridiculous film.”
