Why is Jenna Ortega not in You, season 4? It turns out Jenna may have been a character in You season 4, Part I, which is currently available to stream on Netflix.
Jenna Ortega was supposed to appear in the most recent You season, but she has had a huge year owing to her role as Wednesday Addams in the new Netflix comedy Wednesday.
While the most recent season focuses on Joe’s, played by Penn Badgley, new life in London now that he is Professor Jonathan Moore, Ellie Alves from Jenna’s character may have made a comeback for the first time in two seasons.
Ellie originally made an appearance on You in season 2 as the younger sister of Joe’s next-door neighbor Delilah Alves. In season 3, Joe was stated as having a close bond with Ellie since he continued to communicate with the adolescent and send her money after her family abandoned her.
However, due to certain schedule issues, Jenna was unable to participate in the most recent season of You because of her outstanding performance on Wednesday. Sera Gamble, the show’s creator, admitted that she had hoped Ellie’s character would be brought back into the plot but that things didn’t work out.
Why is Jenna Ortega not in You, season 4?
Ellie Alves, played by Jenna Ortega, appeared in You season 2. Because of Jenna Ortega’s involvement on Wednesday, You had conflicting commitments. Sera Gamble explained, “We wanted to bring Ellie back and we heard, ‘Oh, Jenna is doing some show.’ It’s been just such a pleasure to see Jenna this year. We have ideas for Ellie if her schedule allows her to visit us again.”
As well as season 4, part 2 of You, Wednesday has also now been renewed for another season, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for more Jenna content.
