In an alternate reality, instead of cooking drugs, Walter White (Bryan Cranston) becomes a successful baker, becoming known as a snack tycoon rather than a drug lord. Mr. White and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) team up again for a Superbowl commercial to recreate a scene from Breaking Bad.
The brand announced plans to air a Breaking Bad-inspired commercial during Super Bowl LVII on February 12th. The first previews reveal that Bryan Cranston will return as Walter White, joined by Aaron Paul, reprising his role as Jesse Pinkman.
PopCorners, which had been hinting at its connection to Breaking Bad for several weeks, unveiled a video on Thursday that features White and Jesse together again as they journey into the desert. This re-imagination of a scene from “4 Days Out”, episode nine of the series’ second season, uses the actual RV interior set piece featured in Breaking Bad.
Just a week ago, PopCorners also released one commercial featuring only Jesse Pinkman. The teaser video shows Jesse Pinkman sitting in a lawn chair in his classic white jumpsuit and enjoying a bag of White Cheddar PopCorners in the desert. The iconic white RV from the show can also be seen in the background, adding to the nostalgic feel of the ad.
