The announcement of the upcoming The Witcher television series is undoubtedly among the most significant developments in TV shows. Henry Cavill played the title character, Geralt, for the first three seasons. Cavill has chosen to step down from the position, allowing Liam Hemsworth to take over.
Fans of the show were so upset by this decision that they started a petition on change.org to demand Henry Cavill continue playing the lead role. They also threatened to cancel their subscriptions to the streaming service in droves. About 39,000 individuals have signed it as of this writing.
