The Walt Disney Studios has released a new featurette titled “A World Reimagined” for the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the animated classic, The Little Mermaid.
The featurette unveils new footage from the movie, which is set to hit theaters on May 26, 2023. The film follows the story of Ariel, a beautiful and adventurous young mermaid who longs to explore the world beyond the sea. She falls in love with Prince Eric and, with the help of the evil sea witch, Ursula, makes a deal to experience life on land.
The movie stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, and Daveed Diggs as the voice of Sebastian. Other cast members include Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Noma Dumezweni as Queen Selina, Art Malik as Sir Grimsby, Javier Bardem as King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula.
