Warner Bros Discovery has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated DC film, The Flash.
The trailer features previously unseen footage and offers a glimpse into the multiverse that the titular character, played by Ezra Miller, will be traversing. Fans are excited to see the movie hit the big screen as it takes the existing live-action DC franchise in bold directions.
Michael Keaton’s iconic Batman take is also returning, replacing Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne in the alternate universe. Sasha Calle’s Supergirl takes on the role of Superman, and multiple Ezra Millers run amok, adding to the chaos of the multiverse. General Zod also makes a comeback in the new universe visited by the Flash, making this one of the craziest DC movies yet.
Directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Christina Hodson, the story was penned by John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and Joby Harold. The cast includes Ezra Miller, Ron Livingston, Michael Keaton, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck.
Fans will be able to catch The Flash in theaters in just a few months, on June 16, 2023. As the release date draws closer, fans are eager to see the ramifications of the film’s multiverse storyline.
