The new trailer for Scream 6 has been released, giving us our first glimpse of new characters.
Paramount Pictures has just dropped the official trailer for Scream 6, the latest installment in the iconic horror franchise that first premiered in 1996. The trailer gives us a glimpse of the new Ghostface killer terrorizing young people in New York City and introduces us to new cast members Jenna Ortega, fresh off her success in Wednesday, and Courtney Cox, who returns to the series. The trailer promises a thrilling and terrifying continuation of the Scream story.
Hayden Panettiere will be returning to her role as Kirby Reed in the new Scream movie, marking her first appearance in the series since Scream 4. This comeback is especially exciting for fans, as last year’s Scream movie confirmed that her character had survived the previous installment’s violence.
Unfortunately, Neve Campbell will not be returning for the new movie as she was not pleased with the offer from the studio. “As a woman, I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to Scream. I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise.”
