Pedro Pascal described the “special” request from fans of The Mandalorian as both unsettling and creepy for kids.
This is according to Pascal’s recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, where he discussed his upcoming return as the bounty hunter in the highly anticipated third season of the series. Despite the regularity with which fans make this request, Pascal always declines.
Pedro Pascal Thinks His Sexy Mando Voice Is Too Creepy for Kids
Pascal said: “People come up to me and ask me to do the voice for their kids. But I think it sounds inappropriate because it is a breathy, low-register bedroom voice. The star then added: “It is so creepy and doesn’t work in real life.“
The start of 2023 has been a whirlwind for Pascal, who is enjoying the overwhelming success of The Last of Us, a series in which he stars alongside Bella Ramsey, and has received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. The Mandalorian, which belongs to the Star Wars universe and is available on Disney+, will see Pascal reprise his role as the beloved bounty hunter when it returns on March 1st.
On March 1st, Disney+ will release the highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian, featuring the return of fan-favorite cast members such as Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Giancarlo Esposito as the nefarious Moff Gideon, and Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.
At the same time, Emily Swallow (the gunsmith), Omid Abtahi (Dr. Pershing), Amy Sedaris (Peli Motto), and Simon Kassianides (Ax Woves, Bo-Katan’s companion) will also appear in the upcoming episodes. Additionally, Christopher Lloyd will make a cameo in an undisclosed role.
