Liv Tyler is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after a 16-year break. Tyler, who played Betty Ross in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, will reprise her role as the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a role originally played by William Hurt, in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order, which is set to be released in 2024.

The plot of Captain America: New World Order is still under wraps, but it has been revealed that Harrison Ford will take on the role of Thaddeus Ross, now President of the United States. This comes after William Hurt’s passing in March 2022.
