When Lisa Kudrow’s kid visited the Friends set as a young child, he became pretty baffled. The Phoebe Buffay actor has stated that after becoming close to Jennifer Aniston while working on the popular comedy, her son Julien would frequently confuse her for his mother.
Lisa stated this when appearing on Conan O’Brien’s US chat show: “He got a bit puzzled. I am aware of his obsession with Jen. He would soar onto her lap. She’s a love bug, so that made sense, I suppose. And I always felt happy for everyone who Julien loved or received love from. However, when she was on TV at home, he would call out, “Mommy!”
While growing up, Julien wasn’t a huge Friends fan, despite his obsession with Jennifer.
I understand that he hasn’t watched every episode, Lisa added. I am aware that students at my school watched it for a time. And he got the impression that he had to so he could participate in what everyone else was viewing. And he did genuinely believe that the rest of the cast was incredibly amusing.
However, Julien did make an appearance on the program since Phoebe’s role as a surrogate for her brother, and his wife was mentioned in the plot lines when Lisa was pregnant with him during the fourth season’s production.
