Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston will team up in a “body swapping” comedy film; Max Barbakow will write and direct the film, which will be produced by Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara’s production company LuckyChap Entertainment.
Barbarow will produce alongside LuckyChap, with Roberts’ Red Om Films and Aniston’s Echo Films, according to Deadline. It will be the second time Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston have worked together. They already did it in Mother’s Day, in 2016, a romantic comedy directed by Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) in which Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis completed the cast.
It should be noted that Roberts had a special participation in Friends, the series that brought Aniston to fame. Roberts is fresh off the success of his recent rom-com Ticket to Paradise, co-starring his longtime friend and former on-screen collaborator George Clooney.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Netflix unveiled the first trailer for Mystery Within, a Paris-set sequel to the record-breaking 2019 comedy starring Aniston and Adam Sandler.
