Jennifer Aniston became the newest wealthy and well-known resident of Montecito, California, just east of Santa Barbara, when she bought Oprah Winfrey’s gorgeous four-bedroom farmhouse on a one-acre property with 4,320 square feet.
The new home is close to other famous people’s homes, including Ariana Grande, Rob Lowe, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ellen Degeneres, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito estate.
The 53-year-old Friends star paid $14.8 million for the Bel Air property, which Oprah acquired in early 2021 for $10.5 million and is worth $20.97 million.
Winfrey bought a 2.1-acre compound with a main home in the Mediterranean style and two smaller cottages a year ago. She divided the original property and sold the two smaller cottages to her personal trainer and property manager Bob Greene for $2.3 million.
Jennifer has owned multiple residences over her life, according to Architectural Digest. When Brad Pitt and Aniston married, they spent $13.1 million on a 12,000-square-foot Beverly Hills property in the French Normandy style. However, following their divorce, it was sold in 2006.
Architectural Digest describes Aniston’s new residence, constructed in 1998, as having “picturesque ocean and mountain vistas, various terraces, planted gardens, and a big car court, all located on a secluded site tucked amid oak trees at the end of a long gated lane.”
The house enjoys much solitude with its thickly forested property, verdant lawns, and ample parking for fifteen automobiles.
The star of the enduring comedy Friends, Jennifer Aniston, reportedly has a net worth of $320 million and is best known for playing Rachel Green.
