Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds recently announced that we will again see Wolverine for “Deadpool 3” after saying farewell to the character in 2017 with the film “Logan.” Jackman recently gave an interview with ” Variety,” and many were astonished by his response when asked what his favorite superhero film is. And it’s from DC Universe and not Marvel.
“Growing up, the first Superman,” Jackman said. “It was revolutionary—Richard Donner’s film with Christopher Reeve.
To discuss which of the most recent is the one he favors later: “I’m going to say that when I think of Batman, I think of one of the Nolans. I’ll choose “The Dark Knight.”
Given that both are from DC, Marvel’s main rival, two choices have garnered much attention.
Hugh Jackman holds the Guinness record for playing a Superhero for the longest time. His first role was in X-Men, released in 2000, and his final appearance was in Logan, Which makes 17-Years the longest anybody has portrayed a superhero onscreen. The second in line is, of course, Robert Downey Jr for Iron Man.
