The highly anticipated Fast X, the tenth installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, is gearing up for its release. Paramount has released the second official trailer, which promises non-stop action and excitement.
The film brings back the iconic cast of the series and introduces new and important characters, including Jason Momoa as the villain. The story picks up where the previous films left off, with Dom Toretto and his family facing their deadliest enemy yet.
Dante, the son of a drug kingpin Dom defeated in Fast 5, seeks revenge and will stop at nothing to destroy everything and everyone Dom loves. The family is pushed to their limits as they travel the globe to face new allies and old enemies.
The film introduces new characters, including Brie Larson as Tess, a false representation of the Agency; Alan Ritchson as Aimes, the new head of the Agency who doesn’t sympathize with Dom’s team as much as his predecessor; Daniela Melchior as a Brazilian street racer with a connection to Dom’s past; and the legendary Rita Moreno as Abuelita Toretto, Dom, and Mia’s grandmother.
Louis Leterrier directs Fast X and features the returning cast of Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena, and Scott Eastwood. Academy Award winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron also reprise their roles.
Fans of the series can expect the same high-octane action and heart-pumping thrills that have made the franchise a global phenomenon. Fast X is set to hit theaters on May 19th, and audiences will finally learn the fate of Dom Toretto and his family as they face their greatest challenge.
