In a virtual event held on Wednesday, the prestigious 2023 Emmy Awards nominations showcased an array of exceptional television shows. Dominating the list were captivating series like Succession, The Last of Us, The White Lotus, and Ted Lasso, earning them significant recognition.
Among the acclaimed actors receiving nominations were Pedro Pascal for his role in The Last of Us, Jeremy Strong for his compelling performance in Succession, Quinta Brunson for her standout work in Abbott Elementary, and Jenny Ortega for her remarkable portrayal in Wednesday.
To qualify for this year’s awards, eligible TV shows aired between June 1, 2022, and May 31, 2023, adding further anticipation to the Emmy festivities. The 75th annual Emmys will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theater, formerly the Microsoft Theater, on Monday, September 18. Fox will be the network airing the ceremony, produced by Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay. The Creative Arts ceremonies are set to take place on September 9-10.
