Marvel Studios, Disney proposes Elizabeth Olsen, Natalie Portman, and Letitia Wright to the Oscars for “Best Actress.”
Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth chapter dedicated to the God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth, was released in cinemas on July 6. In the film, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to fight the threat of Gorr, the Godslaughter, a galactic killer who longs for the extinction of the gods.
The Walt Disney Company’s “For Your Consideration” campaign to promote Marvel Studios films released yearly at the upcoming Academy Awards has officially begun. The studio has already started promoting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in all significant categories so that the Academy can consider them for nomination for at least one Academy Award.
Notably, Disney pushed Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff), Natalie Portman (Thor), and Letitia Wright (Shuri) into the “Best Actress” category for their performances in the previous Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
