Clint Eastwood, the legendary actor, and director, turns 93 on May 31st, but retirement is not on his mind.
Eastwood is set to return to the director’s chair in just a few months to helm his latest film, Juror No. 2. The film is a legal drama written by Jonathan Abrams and produced by Warner Bros.
According to reports from Central American cinema and entertainment magazines, Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette are in advanced negotiations to star in the film as the juror and prosecutor, respectively.
Juror No. 2 centers around a murder trial where the juror, played by Nicholas Hoult, realizes that he may have been responsible for the victim’s death. He must choose between manipulating the jury to save himself, revealing the truth, and turning himself in. Toni Collette will play the prosecutor in the film.
This will be the first collaboration between actors and Eastwood, known for directing critically acclaimed movies such as Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River, and American Sniper.
The film will be produced by Eastwood, Adam Goodman, Tim Moore, and Jessica Meier and is expected to hit theaters in 2024.
