Chris Evans and Ana de Armas have teamed up again in the Apple TV+ movie “Ghosted,” after recent collaboration in Russo Brother’s The Gray Man and Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out.”
The film follows the two as they try to recover from a romantic gesture gone wrong. Evans and de Armas appear to have a good first date in the recently released trailer, but things quickly turn sour when Evans realizes de Armas has ghosted him. He decides to travel to London to find her, and it is then revealed that she is a CIA agent. Chaos ensues, with the couple jumping out of planes, dodging bullets, and traversing deserted islands.
The movie initially appears to be a romantic comedy featuring the Proclaimers’ song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).” However, it quickly turns into an action-comedy, with de Armas’s character coming to the rescue of Evans’s character. Adrien Brody appears as an accented villain, while Mike Moh showcases some martial arts moves.
