During its five-season run, the AMC crime drama received 58 Emmy nominations and won 16. Long after the final episode aired, “Breaking Bad” has maintained a strong and long-lasting reputation.
It’s interesting to note that the show’s primary cast, which included actors like Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Anna Gunn, won several acting honors.
Though several of the secondary characters in the series have gone on to star in or make cameo appearances in “Better Call Saul,” the show is also renowned for a large number of its main characters.
A prime example of this is Mike (Jonathan Banks), a former officer who, when viewers first see him in “Breaking Bad,” acts as Gus’ sort of right-hand man.

Banks said: “When I entered, all I wanted to be was the guest star. I didn’t know what the show was about, “said Banks. “It wasn’t in the screenplay, but at the moment, I leaned out and smacked Aaron on the head. He still complains about it.”
According to reports, this little smack convinced Vince Gilligan, the creator of “Breaking Bad,” to increase Banks’ part in addition to calling him back in.
And at least a portion of that came from how Banks portrayed the part in that scene, including the smack Paul put on.
