A new Trailer for RLJE Films’ upcoming holiday thriller The Apology, in which Anna Gunn plays a grieving mother who gets paid back on Christmas Eve, is now available. Alison Star Locke made her acting debut, who also wrote and directed the movie.
Gunn rose to fame mainly as Skyler White in the critically acclaimed AMC program Breaking Bad. Gunn received three Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her legendary performance, winning two. Up until this point, there had been no new information regarding the status of Gunn’s upcoming holiday thriller, The Apology.

The Apology Plot
As they prepare to host Darlene’s family’s holiday gathering, Darlene (Gunn) and her best friend Gretchen (Janeane Garofalo) hope to spend a peaceful Christmas Eve at home together.
Later that evening, Jack (Linus Roache), Darlene’s estranged ex-brother-in-law, unexpectedly knocks on the door and arrives with gifts dripping with nostalgia and many difficult questions. Making viewers wonder if he is responsible for the disappearance of Darlene’s daughter, Sally after a snowstorm closes its doors to guests and strangers.
The Apology Release Date
On December 16, RLJE Films will release The Apology in theaters, and on the same day, AMC+ and Shudder will start streaming it.
