The Boys debuted in 2019 and has already released three seasons. Within a short time, the ideal blend of humor and violence has built up a sizable fan following. According to Nielsen, The Boys has surpassed all other superhero series in 2022, including those from Marvel. The Boys took the 11th spot in the Top 15 most-viewed original TV shows of 2022 on streaming.
Despite receiving positive reviews, some of Marvel’s recent releases, like Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk, have yet to attract a sizable fan base. WandaVision in 2021, which received 7.3 billion minutes, was Marvel’s last successful program; the company has subsequently struggled to maintain its position at the top. The Boys, on the other hand, have received 10.6 billion views, contributing to the growth of Amazon Prime.
