Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors, which is not surprising given that he has acted in many hugely popular films. One of them is the 2014 film “Edge of Tomorrow,” in which he appeared alongside Emily Blunt. During the 2014 production of the fiction picture “Edge of Tomorrow,” Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt got to know one another. Blunt recently recounted a strange incident with Cruise during the film’s production.
Eight years after the movie’s debut, the 39-year-old actress remembered an incident with Tom Cruise on the Dec-12 episode of the “Smartless” podcast.
Blunt has explained that for certain scenes in the fiction, both protagonists had to don a rather heavy robotic suit. “It would have been great if they had put it on me by CGI, but they wanted it in a practical and tactile way,” Blunt said.
“When you hear the word ‘tactile,’ you think it sounds nice and cozy. There was nothing nice about these suits. I weighed about 40 kilos. It was so heavy,” admits the interpreter, who explains that she was “overcome by the situation” and confesses that she began “to cry inconsolably.”
“I started crying in front of Tom and he didn’t know what to do. He looked at me and I said, ‘Tom, I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to continue this scene,'” Blunt confesses.
However, the actress did not expect Cruise’s reaction, which had no filters. “he stared at me for a long time, not knowing what to do, and said, “Come on, stop being such a pu**y, OK?” but Blunt confesses to laughing a lot at the unexpected comment, admitting that’s what she had.
