Actor John Aniston passed away at the age of 89. He was best known for playing Victor Kiriakis on the NBC serial opera “Days of Our Lives.
When her father got the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 Daytime Emmys in June, Jennifer paid homage to him. On the soap series Days of Our Lives, John was best recognized for his portrayal of Victor Kiriakis.
Jennifer virtually attended her dad’s Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony and gave her dad appreciation. He was the recipient of two Soap Opera Digest Awards in 1986: one for best actor in a leading role and the other for best villain in a daytime serial.
In an Instagram post, Aniston’s daughter, actress Jennifer Aniston, confirmed his passing on Friday.
Sweet papa, John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less!
