Caridi has lived in California with Belfort all her life, and she claims that her ex-husband has never offered her assistance. She then enrolled in the Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she graduated with a doctorate in somatics and depth psychology and a master’s degree in counseling.

Can you imagine that there is a film made about your life, about your love life, which was a Greek tragedy? It’s not funny, but guess what, that’s how it is for me. How accurate was the film? I think if you look at it from Jordan’s point of view, it’s really accurate. But I think if you look at it from my point of view, it isn’t very, and that makes sense because that’s actually how our marriage was. However, I went to therapy, became a therapist, earned my Ph.D., and became a relationship trauma expert. And so, I am able to discern its truth, my truth, and everything in between.
