In the R-rated No Hard Feelings trailer, Jennifer Lawrence is recruited to lure a 19-year-old male.
The first R-rated trailer for Gene Stupnitsky’s provocative new comedy, No Hard Feelings, features Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence as the title character.
The plot centers on Maddie (Lawrence), an unfortunate Uber driver who answers a Craigslist post from two parents searching for someone to date their 19-year-old and still-virgin son. After losing her license and car, Maddie responds to the ad before his collegiate years.
According to Percy’s father (played by Matthew Broderick), Percy is a reclusive young man who doesn’t leave his room, talk to girls or drink. During Maddie’s (played by Jennifer Lawrence) first meeting with the parents, she clarifies that they want her to sleep with their son.
The trailer shows Maddie’s various attempts to seduce Percy, but he seems immune to her advances, despite his naivety and lack of experience with women. The film features comic interludes consisting of double entendres and unfortunate events.
