After days of speculation, it has been confirmed that Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci are officially a couple.
The pair were photographed interrupting their Valentine’s Day walk in Santa Monica, California, to share a kiss before walking arm in arm and entering a restaurant together.
Despite being friends for over 15 years, it is said that Burton and Bellucci only started dating after the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon, France, in October 2022.

Bellucci was a guest of honor at the festival and presented Burton with the Lumière Lifetime Achievement Award for his film “Wednesday.” The pair originally met on the steps of the Cannes Film Festival in 2006, but behind the scenes of the Lumière Festival, they became closer.

Burton was formerly in a long-term relationship with Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he split in 2014 after 13 years together. The former couple shares two children, 19-year-old son Billy and 15-year-old daughter Nell. Burton and Carter also collaborated on several films together, including “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
Meanwhile, Bellucci was previously married to Vincent Cassel from 1999 to 2013 and had two daughters with him, 18-year-old Deva and 12-year-old Léonie. She split from artist Nicolas Lefebre in 2019.
