Kevin Feige reveals the future of Marvel projects: Spiderman 4, Deadpool 3, and Blade! Marvel fans eagerly anticipating the next phase of the MCU has a lot to look forward to, according to Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Feige discussed upcoming projects in Phases 5 and 6, providing insight into the future of some of the most beloved superheroes in the franchise.
Spiderman 4 is happening, with Tom Holland set to Return
Tom Holland fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Feige confirms that the fourth Spiderman film is in the works, with a story already in place. “All I will say is that we have the story, We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now.” It is unknown if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who played “Spiderman,” will once again work with Holland. Both actors have indicated a desire to reprise their roles in a future “Spiderman” film.
Deadpool 3 will be Rated-R
And for those eagerly awaiting the return of Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is rumored to be making an appearance in Deadpool 3, which will be Marvel’s first R-14 movie under Disney. “That’s our first R-rated film, To have Hugh come back is incredible.”
Blade is finally in production with Mahershala Ali
Kevin Feige confirmed that the eagerly anticipated Marvel movie, “Blade,” starring Mahershala Ali, will commence filming within the next 10 weeks. Fans of the franchise will be delighted to know that after a bump in the road last year when original director Bassam Tariq stepped down in September, Yann Demange will now take over as the director of the vampire blockbuster. “It’s going well, Our director Yann is down in Atlanta right now. Cameras roll in, like, the next ten weeks or so.”

Harrison Ford is taking over the role of Thaddeus Ross from William Hurt. Ross, now the President of the United States, will be in conflict with Sam Wilson’s Captain America.
The Marvels will be like The Avengers
Feige also discussed The Marvels, with Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan set to be the centerpiece of the film, even comparing it to The Avengers, stealing the show from Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris. Feige expressed his excitement to see the three actresses on screen together, teasing what is sure to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.
“There’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala (Iman Vellani) and Carol (Brie Larson) together in a frame. To me, it’s only akin to the first ‘Avengers’ movie and seeing the six of them together in a frame. It’s chill-inducing.”
Feige’s comments give hope to fans who have been eagerly awaiting news about the next phase of the MCU. With beloved characters set to return and new stories waiting to be told, the Marvel universe is only set to get bigger and better in the years to come.
