The 43rd Annual Razzie Awards announced the winners for the most disappointing films in cinema on Saturday. Among the awardees were “Blonde,” a Marilyn Monroe-inspired biopic by Netflix, “Morbius,” a Jared Leto film that reviewers criticized, and “Elvis,” directed by Baz Luhrman, each winning two awards.
This year, the Razzies also acknowledged their error in nominating a kid in the worst actress category by awarding themselves a trophy for the blunder. Ryan Kiera Armstrong, a child actor who was only 12 years old then, was nominated for worst actress for her performance in “Firestarter.” After facing backlash in January, the Golden Raspberry Awards apologized and removed her name from the nominees’ list.
